Ayurveda, the Maha Gunas, and The Doshas
In my last few podcasts, I divulged that I’m officially studying to become an Ayurveda advisor. During this exciting time, I promised to share the information that I’m learning with all of you. My studies have been quite an eye-opening experience so far as I’m now looking at the whole world through an Ayurvedic lens. I’m continuing to uncover my traumas, learned beliefs, and patterns that have been blocking me, as well as generations before me, from reaching our true potential. One of those major areas for me, is healing my sexual wounds from multiple experiences of sexual assault during my childhood years. I now know how those traumas have been blocking me from fully stepping into my power, my femininity, my sensuality, my creativity, my financial abundance. I’m understanding why humanity is so disconnected from each other and from nature. Why certain people during this time of a great pandemic were able to still find gratitude, solace and strength during quarantine while others can’t bear to be alone with themselves.
Thus, I share with you has been keeping me busy for the past few months, on top of my regularly scheduled duties as a marketing director, mom, partner, friend, daughter, sister. In this episode, I talk about what Ayurveda is and its importance. I describe the great energies that influence how everything functions in the universe, the Maha Gunas, as well as the energies that compose and rule our bodies, the Doshas. Listen as I share how Ayurveda can help you reach consciousness and spiritual transcendence in this lifetime, by teaching you how to listen to and bring balance to your mind and body. It’s time that we all take ownership of our health.
